Keiloch car park to Linn of Quoich via Glen Slugan. A bit of a grind but managed to run most of it - though not much of the heather between tracks over the watershed. River Quoich looking mighty impressive at the Linn - funnelling down the gorge.
home - Kinker - Castle drive =- North Footie - west track - mansion house - Dess Woods - home. A bit damp from start to finish :-) Kept pace fairly quick (for me), right knee complaining by end but nothing too bad.
Guess at time - helping out on RC and SW with their London marathon alternative. From Glen Muick car park to Lochanagar and back - lots of walking ('cos they had just run from Ballogie) and back down (cos it wasn't necessary to run!). Lovely day - mostly sunny but strong cold wind on plateau. Felt fine on bits that I ran. Moving for probably 2-30 total.
Rest day with just a wee walk at Cambus looking for the elusive control 128. Still no sign - but in better light I could see trod to the foot of the spur but no control. It was within sight of a path and I reckon a walker has removed it... Lovely afternoon - even if a bit damp underfoot.
Collecting controls in Cambus, wet, dusk, cloudy, so not a lot of fast running... :-) Still, pleasant enough and made sure I took routes through the nicest bits of the forest. One control was, A already collected, B missing, C in wrong place (not sure which yet!)
More map checking, lots of walking, not much drawing!

Deeside Runners session. Supposed to be 10 mins tempo, 5x1 hills and 1ยง0 mins tempo. However the group decided a 2 minute warm-up was adequate and the til uses for hills was different to one thought, aso turned up late there! Classic DR shambles :-) Anyway, not going great and wheezing quite a bit so not too much missed!
