steady run 1:03:00 [3]

Pressendye from Tarland woods carpark, direct up, back via top loop then direct (missing out Pittendreich).
Ground out the climb, feeling fairly strong leg wise. Trying to lift knees and drive with straight rear leg, up and down. Felt good on descent - hills in past few weeks must be working :-)
View from the top of Pressendye must be one of the best in Aberdeenshire - all the way from Lochnagar, Ben Avon, Cairngorm to the northern hills (Rinnes, Binn of Cullen, Tap O'Noth, Bennachie) and then the southern line, Durris, Kerloch, Mt Shade, Clachnaben, Battock, Keen etc.
Maybe I should aim to visit all the visible tops in 2020... done quite a few already (including most of the biggies!).

Note

Nice little walk from Reiff out to some cliffs - just the thing for a recovery day. Then drive home.

Note

rest day - pretty whacked fro yesterday. Lots of slow chilled riving - up to Drumbeg, the Laxford Bridge and south to a night just north of Kylesku bridge (my favourite bridge in Scotland!)

steady run 1:00:00 [3]

With S along coast from Ardmore campsite. Nasty road at start - winding and cars zinging along. Then found a wee track off (but a bit old and 3m bracken...) Got onto estate track roundcoast and actually ran some, then managed to avoid most of road in return by using the coastline - boulders and slippy but more pleasant than road. Legs feeling pretty tired on hills

steady run 2:45:00 [3]

Up Moruisg to meet S on her last hill, went round Corrie to a 913m peak(!) and down nice spur to a total bog-wallow of a track. Tough climb - straight up through a big then very steep track almost to summit. 62 mins up.
