orienteering 50:00 [3]

shadowing JG. Pace was mostly reasonable (apart from when things got a little competitive near end with OS!). Good routes and nice steady flow.
Keppernach - lovely forest.
Lucked out with weather and the forests for the weekend were fantastic. Many thanks to Mor and Invoc for letting ScotJOS use them.

Physio exercises 6:00 [3]

Standin set - felt surprisingly good and stable.

orienteering 40:00 [3]

jogging around following groups round Trains exercise in Clubbing East.
Fantastic forest - must be one of the most pleasant in the world for this sort of session!).
Legs a bit tied from yesterday but no problem at all from calf.

orienteering 47:00 [4]

Night-O at Roseisle, lovely course by LK with reflectors (touched each reflector).
Lovely evening through a little breezy at car park by Burghead and some heavy rain en-route. Set out to enjoy myself and loved it, missed about 1 min at 1 (too far along track and doubled back over hill), 6 - too far right but relocated fairly quickly (another minute) and then 10 - misread contours, misread line and then overshot to track - must have been within 10m of flag...
Lovely forest for night-O - Mor are so lucky to have such technical but runnable terrain!

steady run 40:00 [3]

Dess Woods, some old routes, some new routes (exciting!). Legs feeling tired and ploddy but in a good way - from Tuesday and then yesterday plus physio exercises.
Left calf still totally fine.

Physio exercises 12:00 [1]

Both sets.

orienteering 28:00 [3]

Collecting a few controls after DNC - just as well I faffed before setting off, met a couple of competitors at my first (their third) control!

Standing set

Intervals 16:00 [5]

Dinnet railway intervals with S. Set out to do 5x4+2 but cut last one, 3rd was really tough (trying to catch S) and then 4th was pretty desperate, good call I think. Left calf fine - didn't feel a thing from it :-)

steady run warm up/down 30:00 [3]

Along railway line and a real grovel back at end.

Physio exercises 12:00 [1]

both sets, tough after intervals.
