steady run 1:20:00 [4]

Up Mount Doom (well Ben Stack which was Tolkein's inspiration for Mount Doom). Pushing hard al way up - fuelled by a large cheese scone and a large strong coffee... A bit more careful on descent - its a very steep "path" with plenty of trip chances. Showery day so rock a bit wet and greasy as well.
Its a great mountain - steep and then a narrow ridge at the top plus some amazing clefts along the summit ridge. Next time will descend to east (if transport is available back).
Left calf fine until 100m from track near bottom when I drop the heel and got a twinge through it.

Physio exercises 6:00 [3]

1 exercise (standing).

Note

feeling washed out after weekend (home at 0030 this morning). Managed to cut the grass but no time or energy left for a run.
