orienteering race 56:00 [5]

VHI Indiv. Pentlands hill race (sort O-event). Pushed hard, ran as much as I could and only 1-30 behind NB, unfortunately PM had a flyer so was 7 mins down...
5th M55 which given state of my legs and the type of area wasn't too bad, managed to beat all the M60s, but plenty of W35/40s ahead!

Decent warm-up before VHI relays. Legs feeling OK

orienteering race 31:00 [5]

VHI relays... a bit of a debacle, 2 comedy errors (ran past one control due to trying to use rhododendron bushes as an indication of location. 2.5 mins gone. Then turned right out of a control instead a left (another minute).
Then in second half has to stop about 5 or 6 times because I felt I was going to pass out. Had to stop, bend over and catch breath till world came into view again.

Shadowing CW round WeTT at Redburn. wet evening but pleasant trot round with plenty of stops to discuss plans, options etc.
Never aware of calf :-)

Lap of Dess Woods with E. Very pleasant evening and great views. Legs feeling OK, calf fine.

Very short jog round Hill of Banchory. Some brambles ripening, but generally too much shade.
