SOL Uath Lochans, short brown. 7.7km 66 mins. Decent technically - one miss when there seems to be an extra hill not marked on map. Running hard (lots of tripping and falling). Left calf tightened up (upper outside part) between 16 & 17.

Steady run to start then got off early so less than hoped for!
Middle distance race at Kingussie - slow to 1, messed 3 alit (didn't see flag at all!), went 4-6 (not careful checking but number was badly sited on map...). Then Ok, but struggling in running - legs drained.
10 mins down on Markie...
Hills 5x2+2 from Boddomend up to Queens hill then 4x30+30 from Boddomend homewards on return. Legs feeling pretty sluggish but persevered. No calf problems - did hills to help reduce strain.
Roasting hot - reduced to a grease spot by the end!
