Cycle with Ewan and Sarah - Balmoral distilery to Glen Muick, down Glen Muick and back along south Deeside road. Pleasant day out - chilly and a bit breezy but apart from cold feet on second half the temp was fine. Lovely sunny day, hardly a cloud around except on hill tops.

Collecting controls from last 1/3rd of course in D&D. Forest still as nice as ever and hardly changed apart from a few little bits of green cleared.

Deeside Night Cup, Birsemore Hill - a superb night (clear and stars out, not too cold) and great course by Drew. Really hard technically (and physically - esp near the end), missed 3 badly and bounced off track beyond, other than that a few wobbles and lots of hesitations to confirm where I was. Not always having a clear plan, could have saved time on some legs by simplifying and using bigger features. 30 secs behind Sasha.... again so close!
