Cycle from Chiusi Scalo to Arrezzo. Great route (flat all way) along the side of main drainage channel (Maestro Canale del Chiana). Bum suffering a bit on second half but legs OK, E did really well - still going strong at end. Lovely day for a cycle - cloudy but dry and not too hot.

Intervals hills 24:00 [5]

Hill session from house to Sarteano and then on to Pietra Porciana, 8x1 to town, then 5 min run past castle and on to next incline, then 16x1 up to turn off from dirt road. Felt it hard to hit early hills flat out but was working hard enough by end!

steady run warm up/down 52:00 [3]

12 minute warm-up, 5 mins between sets then grovel from last interval to car.

loop from Pian de Castagnaio up hill, through woods to Abaddia san Salvatore and back. Tough hillat start (200+m on road) then lots of down. Great!

With E from house down to bottom track, uo valley to old factory and home. Pushing on some hills - probably 8 mins harder effort. E keeping up pretty well.

walk up from Passignagno to ridge - hot

steady run 1:18:00 [3]

Run back to Passignagno to pick up car. Exciting route and track marking a bit dodgy. Tweaked left fpoot near end (rolled off large pinecone).

walk up Monte Cetona with S & E, fast pace up ridge and back via Fonte Vetriana. Out for 2.5hours
