Hanging and collecting controls in Bellwood for club training. Lovely day - sunny and breezy.
No controls stolen by Bellwood residents unlike January when 6 were removed, though 2 were moved 5-10m - discovered by the patrollers, MG, JG and EM.

Hanging controls for evening sprint race. In a rush but managed all in right place and correct codes ;-) Shooting Greens is a bit tough in bits.

Surveying 5 hours - interesting bit of forest, old map missing lots of detail in what were thick areas (in 1989) which are now lovely runnable forest. Its going to be a cracking area - and new to most people.

Intervals hills 8:00 [5]

Hill session up Fungle, set off and felt terrible warming up from Aboyne. Decided to aim for 8 x1+1, did this and possibly would have done a couple more - if my watch had more than 8 laps! As it was I couldn't face resetting it and waiting for another start. returned via Birsemore and Queens Loch, then onto hill to east - never visited this before - A new area next to Aboyne! Some lovely contour shapes and bits of rock, mix of mature plantation, young-ish larch and cattle birch wood (well chewed up!).

Surveying 4 hours. Not as tired as yesterday. Another fine day - a few showers, but light and over quickly. Not as windy as yesterday.

Nice easy loop from Victory Hall while Ewan at tennis - through woods to Tarland Way, along to Otter bridge then along ride to Aboyne Castle and past this to east, back through woods next to golf-course and castle grounds. Mostly flat - which probably helped me keep moving!

Surveying 4 hours. still feeling very tired. Nice day - windy but clear, sunny and mild. A few spits of rain but came to nothing.

Glen Tanar, Deeside Runners, 2 bridges loop, 8x2+1. Struggling - have felt wappit the last 2 days, don't know why. Well down on Dave H on all intervals. Felt lacking in strength and energy.
