With Sarah and Ewan from Cambus footbridge to Ballater on south side, cafe stop, then back via railway line with added loop in Cambus. Tired legs, not helped by 4 hours gardening this morning....

Hills from home - up from Deeside Way bridge to top of quarry pond hill. Feeling tired so did one ascent only. Reckon I'm still feeling drained from surveying/driving this week.

steady run warm up/down 35:00 [3]

lap of Dess Wood to warm-up, mental battle the whole way about whether to start session or not.... Eventually won by running to the bridge - couldn't just jog up the track from there!

With Ewan and Sarah along Deeside Way to Aboyne and back via cafe at Horsey place (great views across to Birse and a panorama of forest from Birsdemore Hill to Carlogie). Feeling tired, need a few good nights sleep and restful days....

Deeside Night Cup, Crathes. Last event, 30 minute score. Forgot compass, borrowed right hand thumb, had trouble focussing initially, eyes not working properly (just put lenses in). Anyway, gubbed by Sasha and several others! Nice night for a run.

Deeside Runners Aboyne Green. Intervals, 2x short 2x medium, 2xlong, 2xmedium, 2xshort. Not sure of exact times 'cos watch strap broke at weekend!
Felt dire at start and only gradually recovered - not sure if due to several weeks since last intervals, remains of cold, tired from surveying/driving. Must do intervals more frequently.
