With Sarah at Ripon. Right calf tightened up and sore from ca 15 mins. never desperate, but worried about run across Scotland which starts on Monday. Lots of icing and some gentle massage and stretching.
5.5 hours survey (out before 8am so as to get back to pick up Ewan from school. Got hungry after 4 hours, but kept plugging away and got a second wind. Decent chunk done now.
Wee jog round Hill of Banchory, pleasant - sunny and breezy. Knees fine but right calf reminded me of its presence after 10 mins - need to do more stretching and dynamic work to strengthen it for next week.
