orienteering 46:00 [5]

Shooting Greens local event. Long course - 5.1km of tough forest and hill. Managed to hold O-ing together despite tiredness and even managed to run up some of the big hill! Course could have been nicer and more technical but good work out.

steady run warm up/down 15:00 [3]

Alright - all warm-up, warm-down a stagger to the car!

steady run 1:18:00 [3]

Lochnagar with HP, Oleg, Sasha and Evgueni.
Well HP and I took it easy up hills and were left for dead by the others! Led Sasha off after Oleg headed off to Broad Cairn and others.

steady run 1:00:00 [4]

Harder work sections of Lochnagar run.

orienteering 27:00 [4]

Shadowing HP at Allt Cailleach. Good pace and tired so cut off and met her near end of course.

steady run warm up/down 20:00 [3]

Warm-up, run cut-off of course and back from finish.

orienteering 1:08:00 [3]

Checking Balnagowan map - a few big changes but mostly map OK.

Circuits 50:00 [2]

Decent effort. Knees feeling pretty good.

steady run 43:00 [3]

Gle nTanar 2 Bridges loop, chasing Ewan (on his bike). Pacey at times and pretty fast overall. Knees started OK, but right one felt a bit strange - like the muscles all round it were tired and struggling to hold it steady. I much prefer terrain running.

steady run 13:00 [3]

Wee jog round Hill of Banchory. Knees feeling pretty decent and I felt running style was smoother from the off.

Pilates 1:00:00 [1]

Matwork session. Mostly good.

orienteering 27:00 [4]

Shadowing HP round Birsemore Hill. Superb day - warm and sunny. Beautiful forest and nice short course. Knees felt great for most of run - off road might be helping but perhaps exercises are starting to have an effect.

steady run 16:00 [3]

Warm-up up the cistern track to start at south of runnable hill on Birsemore.
