Guiding for Running the Highlands, Ripe Hill loop with party of 6. Very enjoyable - a bit of a head wind for outwards route, but not to strong and mild temperature. Knees felt OK, but tired by end.

Checking controls in Allt Cailleach for tomorrow's event. Felt pretty shot at start but plugged away and enjoyed most of it. Knees not 100% but mostly reasonable. Shagged by end - 5 hours of running in past 24 hours.....
Guiding for Running the Highlands (http://www.runningthehighlands.com/). Keiloch car park, across Invercauld Bridge, along river downstream, up to main drag, left to waterfall bridge, back via barbeque hut and viewpoint track. Great afternoon - mild and breezy.
pace run20:00 [4]
Pushing a section of the run - uphill bit, so as not to stress knees too much. Knees feeling OK after run.

Checking controls in Allt Cailleach for event on Sunday :
www.marocscotland.org.uk/home/fixtures/alt-caillea... Feeling a bit sluggish at start but got going OK. Took steady to avoid bonking! Found hideous swamp at one point - had to scrape hands and map clean with moss.
Knees tired and a bit stiff at end but not too sore.
With Sarah, Fungle hill session, 5x1+1 with jog down and repeat (so [5x1+1]x2). Felt desperate on first one - lunch almost came out again! but settled in. Knees a bit sore on some but seemed to survive OK overall.
steady run warm up/down 43:00 [3]
Jog to start of hill, down between each interval and back. Very pleasant afternoon with blinks of sun occasionally.
Club indoor training. Warm-up, circuits, shuttle relay and some more strength. Avoided any deep knee bending and took shuttle runs easy. Knees feeling tired but not sore.
