cycling 50:00 [2]

With Ewan and Sarah from Victory Hall, aboyne to new Tarland cycle path out through Coull to bridge over Tarland burn. Lovely route and good cycle design for the most part (except one stretch with 3 gates, steep zig-zags over a ditch and right angle bend off a bridge..). Out 1-20 in total. Feeling tired from saturday and lower right side of back tweaking - nervey type... take things easy and see what happens.

Aboyne to home along railway line. Feeling awkward at start with back, but gradually eased off.

With Ewan and Sarah from Ballater to Cambus bridge on south side and back along Deeside Way. Out for 120 in total.

Craigendarroch gym - simialr session to Aboyne one, leg strength, lunges and sit ups.

Extra session with Sarah at Aboyne. Same as Monday but felt more controlled.

With Sarah from Aboyne bridge up to cistern track, then cut through to keepers house road and up to Fungle junction then steep heathery climb to top of CarnFerg. Back via east track for short while then track down to top of Birsemore map and cut through to Fungle track and down Fungle.

Intervals hills 12:00 [5]

Dess Wood hill from DAP gate up track, 3x2+2 x2 (extra minute in gap). Feeling a bit sluggish, but kept distance reasonably and last one very good (almost to right near big larch).

Decent warm up and slow jog back. Hills included a fast easy descent to start on each one.

Home to Aboyne garage to pick up car - not so rainy, but lots of water elsewhere.

Hill of Banchory, windy and overcast but very mild.

Good session, didn't feel too bad after 3 week break. Using foam rollers - could be interesting once we start working harder on them.

Strength 30:00 [2]

Gym again - usual lunges, sit-ups and leg straightening. managed 3.5 sets in 30 mins
