Hill session in Dess Woods - 51,55,51,56,55,50 secs up and ca 75-80 secs jog down and recovery. Going hard, thighs burning by 3rd rep.

steady run warm up/down 35:00 [3]

Mostly in terrrain in Dess Wood and fields above. Lovely afternoon.

With ewan from Dinnet to Cambus footbridge. Bad patch of snow near Cambus (sheltered by plantation block) but much less elsewhere than on Wednesday.

Hanging controls for Sunday training at Tilquhillie. Feeling pretty good and sprightly. Forest is getting much better - hope they don't fell too much more for a while.

Run through Cambus to check for damage by forestry work. Not as much as feared from previous run on paths - seems most bad tractor wallows are near tracks. Area is still great, but tough, and visibility s improved by thinning work in some places. Brashings not too much of an issue, just a few patches here and there - most of the pine trees are too stunted in growth due to poor soil (rocks!) and climate to be huge luxurious trees.

Intervals on railway west of Dinnet, 8x2+1, a bit of snow on ground so slippery in places. felt dreadful at start - really wheezy, and struggled to really hurt legs.

Maroc circuit training at Banchory sports hall, feeling a bit tired from run and stomach rebelling (tea at 6-15, circuits 7-30...)

dreadful weather- pissing down all day and 2-3C, so looked out and decided a rest day was needed!

Good session with some strength - arms - which I managed easily have had Sunday off!
