Lapof Dess Wood loop with Sarah, with head torches, cloudy so not as clear as last night and milder so feet wetter from melting snow. Very pleasant.

Nice easy run round Dess Wood loop, in reverse. Evening, headtorch in forest, but moonlight bright enough in open. Fantastic evening with the afterglow of sunset and a nearly full moon glowing silver over the snowy landscape.
Chilly - esp out on fields, but never too bad.

Plod with David Sullivan, from his place along railway line, up Little Hill & Mortlich, back same way and continued to home.
Feeling dreadfully heavy legged (after last 3 hard days) and struggling up hill. Need to try and get some recovery - quiet day tomorrow I think.

Hills on treadmill, 8x1+1 11kmph, 15 degrees slope. Tough session, esp in a hot sweaty gym!

steady run warm up/down 32:00 [3]

10 mins warm up , recovery and 14 mins warm down. treadmill, 0.3-0.9 degrees and 11-12kmph

orienteering race 1:01:00 [5]

Deeside Night Cup 4 Forvie. At last - some quality technical terrain without waist deep snow. Great course from Gary, lots of tricky legs, had to use all techniques intensively. 12 & 13 not there - shame as broke rythm of o-ing. Went nearly waist deep in orange stream near end - I'd forgotten how horrible it was until I lobbed into it!

Legs feeling very tired and drained from last night's intervals and very, very tired by end. Left calf a bit tight after - hope its not old-man's-injury striking.

Deeside Runners round Aboyne - 8x2+1. Going OK, but feeling a bit lacking in fast running recently.

Warm up/down, stuck to old road route - green still too snowy and icy. Pavements good, just a couple of snow piles to hurdle at junctions.

Steady run round part of Dess Wood loop with Sarah. Not much snow on most of the paths, but what is left is frozen again....
