Checking controls at Glen Dye - a cold rain started as I left the car and continued for the next 2 hours..... Nae nice at 7C

Echt road over Hill of Fare, via TV mast and high tracks, cross country to top of road over Learney Hill and back via roads and tracks form there. Tired after least few days and struggling by Learney raod (ca 1-36), OK down hill to back of Torphins and then hard time getting up hill past Pitmurchie House entrance. Pretty knacked by end.

Railway line intervals from Aboyne to Dess. 12x2+1. Going OK, hanging on by fingernails on last 2!

Warm-up from centre of Aboyne to west end and from end of intervals back to home - waded Dess Burn (now Iain has removed log-jam bridge its not so easy).

Cycle with Sarah and ewan Gliding strip to centre of Aboyne and back.
