cycling 2:00:00 [3]

Cycling round Mainland - visited The Earl's Palace, Brough of Birsay and Skara Brae. Nice sunny day and fun to be out with Ewan on the tag-along, though some of the hills felt a bit tough - esp when he refused to help pedalling.

stretching 15:00 [2]

usual stretching - careful after a week away - due to illness and also lack of space in first accommodation

steady run 36:00 [3]

Wahoo! back to real running again... well a wee short trot up the hill behind our house in Orkney. Nice to feel alive again - despite the attempts of a pair of Bonxies to change that - repeatedly dive bombed me when I got into their patch. Reminded me of a trip to Hoy many, many years ago (OK - it was 1980) where the Bonxies were amazingly persistent in attacking a group of us walking over the hills to the Old Man.

cycing with Ewan on tag-along part way to and from Sandwood Bay. A dodgy track in places esp with a tag-along!

Note

Note

still not well

walking 2:00:00 [2]

walk round Handa Island, amazing cliffs and dead calm sea - a great day to kayak round the island as 2 people were doing about 200 feet below us! Carrying Ewan for a bit near end as he was tired. Still not feeling like any real training
