Glen Dye:
Reasonable run but faded badly. (Friday nights run?)
Fastest on every leg in the first half except the first control (where I was still in running mode and forgot to navigate.) (5 minute lead at this point)
Was missing controls, loosing concentration and falling over by the end but managed to stay 3 minutes clear.
Very pleased with 1st M60 and Scottish long distance champion for the first time.

Down through Kinghorn, along the beach, round an island up to my knees in the sea, back along the beach then steep uphill through the town to finish.
Tough race, great atmosphere, more wind and wetter underfoot that the previous time I ran it. Time about 30s slower but placed higher 87th out of almost 1000 finishers. 1st V60 winning a crate of beer!
(probably ran in wrong shoes but didn't want to use any good ones in the salt water.

Great little sprint on open hillside with lots of features. Good practice at running under pressure as I was being chased by the farmer (Jethro) which resulted in a few little errors. (Jethro 14.42 mostly by being more accurate)
