Friday May 6 #

Running warm up/down 34:45 [3] 4.7 km (7:24 / km)
shoes: saucony endorphine

Running race (Scottish 5K Championship) 18:57 [5] 5.0 km (3:47 / km)
shoes: saucony endorphine

First time under 19 mins for 5K (PB at 62!) and managed to sneak a bronze medal by less than 1 second! Very pleased with this as I have done no speed work yet and only 2 specific training sessions. Possibly more to come as conditions were not ideal. (Windy)

Nice little forest sprint, ok until I got distracted by another runner and pulled to the left missing control 8. Rest quite tidy.

Managed to get a run on the last leg for an Italian team. Decent enough run with one error in the tricky intricate bit. Team would have won the open class but 2nd leg runner MP.
