Very tough, 60 controls in technical green (very thick in places). Learned from the locals to trust the map and run through water if mapped as crossable. M21 had 100 controls!

Couldn't read the map at the start (could not see the numbers or the circles against the grey). Missed 3 and was on the way to 5 and had to come back then settled into a steady run.

Orienteering steadily then made a mistake on a short leg lost a minute and got caught by the pack. Took a maverick route over the hill instead of round on a path "to make up time" and lost another 3 mins plus!
