Orienteering warm up/down 15:00 [3] 1.0 km (15:00 / km)
shoes: swoops

W/u ~ Lots of jogging around and then some sprints with dad. Then drills and stretching, felt really warmed up.

Orienteering race 24:48 [5] 3.8 km (6:32 / km) +60m 6:03 / km
shoes: swoops

British Schools Champs. G13. Duridge. I'm sure jonny will correct my spelling.
Took it easy in the dunes and got it right. Ran hard on the easy bits. A few tiny slips. Won by over a minute, so pretty pleased.

Running long 56:14 [3] 8.0 km (7:02 / km)
shoes: swoops

Went for a longish run along the beach after the race with dad, was nice on the way out but the wind was right in our faces on the way back. Did some running on the beach itself and in the dunes etc.

Orienteering warm up/down 40:00 [3] 3.5 km (11:26 / km)
shoes: asics pink

W/u for prologue ~ ran to the start then did sprints, drills and stretching.

W/d for prologue ~ jogged back from the finish through the streets.

W/u for chase ~ ran half way back from the start area and then drills in the warm up zone.

W/d for chase ~ jog with dad.

Orienteering race 21:14 [4] 2.6 km (8:10 / km)
shoes: asics pink

Sheffield city prologue. Womens open.
Was ok, found it quite tricky, a few small mistakes but atleast there were no huge ones like I sometimes make in prologues. Was still in with a chance of doing well. Beat dad by quite a bit:).

Orienteering race 28:00 [4] ***** 3.0 km (9:20 / km)
shoes: asics pink

Sheffield city chase. Womens open.

Started off fast and caught Steve M and almost caught the girl ahead, was getting closer and closer but was obviously running too fast as I was way up on dad and blew it and 7 resulting in not only the pack getting away but people passing me. The control was above me!!!!!!! Then messed up 8 as I thought it was the wrong number. Was so confused in the levels bit and then dad caught me by 3mins. Ran with him for a bit and evenutally went better again but by then it was too late.
Really wanted to take a guy on the run in, he punched the last contorl first but I still tried, ran inbetween two bollards and he tried to squeeze me out but I just edged forwards and went passed:) yehh!

So a poor run, too fast as there were others around. Enjoyed it though and the bits on more than one level were so hard but good. On the plus side I still beat the woman I had to beat and came 2nd in the Urban Leauge:).

Cycling warm up/down 5:00 [3] 2.0 km (2:30 / km)
shoes: asics pink

Warmed up on the bike in the gym.

Running 27:30 [4] 6.0 km (4:35 / km)
shoes: asics pink

I just had to run and as a storm is currently overhead causing the river to be in flood, while rain continues to fall and winds batter, it wasn't really safe to do the run I had proposed. Dad said I should just to a short 6km easy run down to the bottom of the town, to the top and back to the bottom and home. However that involved the trim track which in places has barriers up due to flooding. Therefore I headed to the gym as I really wanted to run and did a 6km treadmill now! AGH how do people do it, I know why people dislike running, sooooo boring but I did it. Give me terrain anyday! Plus I don't like the mirror, means I can see myself run. Anyway happy I have run would like to have went outside, quite enjoy the rain:P after all I trained in it all summer on NTT.

Running warm up/down 7:30 [3] 1.5 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: asics pink

Ran back from the gym, with the wind on my back:) felt like I was flying. I a no softy, was fun and I'm sure my school friends will think I'm weird.
