Cross country warm up/down 30:00 [2]
shoes: Astro Orienteering shoes

Did a good warm up before the race. this involved shuttle runs with dynamic stretches. after the race went for a slow jog to slow breathing. then did some static stretches. the effects of doing the warm down are already obvious as i have only a slight stiff feeling in my legs which a sleep will fix

Running 30:00 [3]
shoes: Blue trainers

had to do the set run course in games. it was a waste of time really as the course is totally shocking and noone takes the practices seriously. why don't we do the set run as a one off event? everyone knows the course and it's not as if two practices will make you perform significantly better anyway. mr bonney, director of sport mr what ever he calls him self, should be ashamed as he just waddles around in wellington boots and doesn't do a single thing.
however i did a good warm down afterwards and had a good shower, so everything is ok!

Note

Missed interval training as i was really tired and training when tired is more likely to lead to injury. dave, can you think of a way to make intervals more interesting generally?

Cross country 45:00 [3]
shoes: Blue trainers

Did a proper cross country run involving mud, streams and marshes. it was also quite windy. went east along Quernmore road until had crossed the motorway. them went along a farm track and along the edge of knotts wood. went towards the farm loop of the set run. went along the dirt track until almost at central high school then but across the LRGS rugby pitches, then back to school. did a really good warm down as i'm running in a cross country race on saturday. my legs don't feel a slightest bit stiff!

Cross country warm up/down 30:00 [1]

Did a really good warm down after going for a fairly tough run
