Orienteering race (Darnley: Short Brown) 1:16:52 [3] *** 10.01 km (7:41 / km) +142m 7:10 / km
ahr:129 max:176 spiked:15/19c shoes: Inov8 Oroc 280

Poor to number 1 as couldn't find start on map - would have been easily solved by looking at the map in the start lanes.
1-2 lost a few minutes being an idiot and being on the wrong track.
2-3-4-5-6 all fine
6-7 would have been slightly quicker just to come back out the same way, wood was so scrappy there would have been much easier to run all the way round to the open then in. I tried to go straight and then went off my line getting stuck in brambly crap.
7-8-9-10-11 all fine. slightly put off by 11 not working and then would have been quicker coming longer out to track rather than up to path
12 went round back of depression then over top of thick stuff then just didn't see the pit, got as far as rootstock and back - maybe lost 30s
12-13-14-15 fine (tho 15 cut down and over the fence and possibly not worth it.
15-16-17-18 fine
then managed to lost 2 mins to 19! came out to path correctly then just got dragged towards the finish, and hand to run back up plus wasted some tiem getting stuck in brambles on way into the control.

very very muddy and really hard going on the tracks.

Orienteering race (Night Score Cassiobury) 44:40 [3] 5.45 km (8:12 / km) +46m 7:52 / km
ahr:135 max:221 shoes: Inov8 Oroc 280

45min Score in Cassiobury Park. Decided to go for the harder controls rather think about how many I could get. Very very wet (some wading down the road/river). Bit off in the North, following path and then disappeared so had to relocate, then when i tried to head down through the white to the canal towpath and got massively stuck in holly. Finished with a bit of a run collecting those round the park.

Prob not the best run re. getting most controls (getting all in the park would have been better) but better for training.

Snowboarding (Grands Montets) 4:00:00 [2]
shoes: GNU C2BTX

Plan had been to go over to Courmayeur but the boys had a bit of a late night. Dave and I went over to GM and started with the homerun (which is actually a really nice run but usually there's about a million people on it), then waited in the queue to go up to the top. Only one run open but snow was ok, went all the way to the bottom for fun (2000m drop). then after pizza only just time to do the home run, again. Hate how hard I find this after 10 months of no boarding.
