Tail running loop 1 on Sunnyside. Conditions just perfect for running - soft surface on hard-packed snow. Lovely evening with the sun going down on atmospheric skies. The starts surely aligned for this…. Fab :-)

After an early crash last night with headache and shivers woke up feeling remarkably normal. Had already canned the planned skiing, but reckoned a trot up Glen Eanaich would be ok as long as I listened to my body. Ran most of it but slowed to a walk in places. Still feeling tired but nothing like last night’s exhaustion and didn’t crash after. Lovely wee excursion even though a bit grey overhead.

DR intervals on the green. Extended w-u round Castle woods before the session. Decreasing reps 1x4, 2x3, 3x2, 4x1 with 50% recoveries. Running better than I have for a good few weeks, tho legs still felt a bit heavy - suspect some hills would have found them out. Happy with that one :-)
