Glenshee 6 with J and ME - CL, GM, CoC, TB, TM and CT. Another cracking day, early on especially. Bit of freezing fog came in later making it feel pretty chilly for a while. Easy relaxed pace from the outset and felt ok once we got going. A few niggles from the hammy, but nothing too distracting. Worst bit was the 3km back up the road at the end , which we could have avoided if we’d thought to leave a car there!
Didn’t really plan on doing 2 long days back to back, but it turned out fine. Good company today :-)

New take on Lochnagar from Balmoral - out past Gelder Shiel then up onto Meikle Pap before continuing round to the summit. Descent by ridge to the north and the Prince's Stone, then Ripe Hill track. Stunning day. Late start but just time enough to squeeze this into daylight, although it turned out longer than anticipated, due to loitering in the sun on summits etc. Quick catch up natter with RW above the ladder. Legs generally not too bad, but left hamstring tweaky towards the back end.
Disappointed not to be staying out west for the weekend but this was a pretty good substitute, despite lacking in the good company I've had of late!

More reccies for schools O. First round Caol / Banavie etc then out to Nevis Range. With BT again - excellent local guide and good company too! Even got a bit technical later in the ride, but thankfully she stuck to the main trails for me :-) Funniest moment ever when we crossed through the distillery to be stopped for a temperature check.... wtf? It meant the guy actually had to come close enough to us to take our temp when we could have passed through without going near anyone!
Had planned a hill run later in the day, but cloud was down and I felt quite weary after the biking. Shame to be out west without a chance to do a bit more, but a nice change in scenery all the same.

Cistern track hill reps. 6 x 4' plus jog back recovery off 8' cycle. Grim effort and breathing was poor, but pleased to grind it out. More than held my distance with first rep shortest and last one longest.
