Running 1:12:00 [3] 11.6 km (6:12 / km) +150m 5:50 / km

Controlling at Forvie. Checking controls were still there on white / yellow courses plus orange controls on hill tops. Then a run down to the far start and back. Blowin' a hoolie again, but nice day otherwise and seemed to be enjoyed by all.
Funny moment of the day was the MTB rider who spotted an empty (vintage 1960s Esson) pram (used to transport kit to start) on its side by the cliff edge...

Checking the rest of the controls at Forvie. Whole load easier once there's big red things to spot! Felt ok running, but something funny going on in left foot. Pain yesterday too, but in a different spot.

Control hanging at Forvie for SOL. Blowing a hoolie (as ever) so I hope the kites are still there on Sunday! Took longer than expected (as ever).

Home - Lumph - Torph - Kinker. Um'd and ah'd about going out, but enjoyed it once I did.

Hanging controls for ASC then various bits of running backwards and forwards.

Over in Strathdon so went for a wee run up Ben Newe from top cp. Up by the main path then nice route back down via some rides etc.

Short family training session at Glen Davan. Think I hit everything except no 2. Not sure what happened there and sadly gps had somehow got knocked off and only restarted as I found the control site. Lovely wee area as always.

Feeling quite meh this morning so decided to try LK as a drop of medicine. Once I got running realised that legs felt fine, so went ahead with the planned intervals.
From Dinnet to start of intervals and back at end.

Running intervals 32:00 [5] 5.3 km (6:02 / km) +60m 5:43 / km

8x3'+1' round LK. Maybe not pushing 110% but did the job and felt a lot better for it.
