Tornskogen again. Great course. Handled the tricky stuff well but made a really stupid mistake trying to attack 1 control off the wrong path junction. 10' down on LB who I was able to race at the 6 days. Half of that probably down to her confidence in home terrain.

Middle race on Tornskogen. Lovely terrain. Lots of good nav but 1 bad mistake (was metres from control but lost confidence and did a big relocation loop~ 3'). Also a couple of small ones. 5' down

Jog from hut to track for time-trial and back fromO training.

Shadowing on contour only training.

Ravinen club night training. Pairs odd/ even relays = interval session. Getting plenty of recovery as paired with a slow lad. Good fun session.

Low key O race at Sodertalje whilst juniors doing relays. Lucky to get a lift back. Another long day, late tea and bed.

Long day travelling rapidly followed by Night O from behind Ravinen club hut. Meant to be a group run but everyone legged it off way too fast and as soon as it got technical we all got lost. First battery died rapidly (dodgy one from last winter). Plugged the spare in and it was on Amber and sure enough it died too fairly rapidly. After that had no choice but to cling on to one of the girls for dear life! Not the most useful of trainings and by the end of the evening there were already 2 injuries in the team:-( late dinner and bed.

Running 2:10:00 [3] 19.2 km (6:46 / km) +580m 5:53 / km

From Aboyne bridge up the Fungle and over to Birse Castle, then back across to Glen Cat and Birse forest, returning from big Birse track by the road.
Wasn't sure how this would work out. Feeling really wappit still, but physically no aches or pains. Set off on autopilot in a dwam and gradually came too.
Pleased to tick this off, as it may be hard to fit any long runs in over the next couple of weeks. Endurance is still there.
