CSC at South Achray running against the big girls on blue ladies. Pretty happy with this one too. Wasn't moving very fast but kept plodding steadily. Only real mistake was a 180 at no 9 - classic mistake with both 6 and 9 close and got the map upside down. Relocated at 9 again after 2.5' faff. Rough stuff but good to run in a new forest (don't think I've been there since SC in late 90s).
Respectable 11th just behind JS.

Good w/e all round. Bit of excitement with our "remote" accomodation, 3 enjoyable races, 9 respectable performances from the Musgrave Dunn clan and I think the lurgy is finally on its way ;-)
Scottish sprint champs at North Muirton, Perth. Good fun. Pretty clean run, just a few hesitations. Pleased to spot the trick at the 2nd last control. 2nd V40 to HT

Scottish night champs at Kinnoul Hill. Pretty happy with this. Got lucky a couple of times when I had lost contact a bit. Too high on 13 losing ~1.5'. Otherwise just a few hesitations and not always the best route.
Won W45 by 18'.
Bad stomach due to heavy lunch at 3ish.

Up to the start and back down to the cp a few times. Felt ok once the stiffness loosened off.
Walk from the hostel at Loch Voil heading up the valley on the forest track above Loch Doine. Hoped to get to the head of the valley then head either west or south, but reached an uncrossable gorge on the Invernenty Burn. Tried going d/s but no bridge, so walked further u/s before turning round and going back the same way. Out for ~2.5h.
Walk from Glen Doll up to the entrance to Coire Fee. Hard going at times in the wet snow, but stayed mostly dry overhead. Should go back in better weather sometime and climb up into the coire. Out for 1.5h.
DNC at Glen Dye. Enjoyable night and no major booboos for a change, but quite a few smaller errors (route to 4, route to 12, 13 and 15). Slipped at 14 and both calfs cramped up so that I couldn't stand up, but managed to stretch them off a bit once I finally got vertical again. Cough much improved compared with last week; as DK said I was only coughing half the time ;-)
