From home through woods to cow shit alley, military rd, Lumphanan, golf course, back across fields, military rd, bullevard and back. Feeling a bit tired but running steady and a decent effort. A bit wet underfoot and a few too many fence crossings, otherwise nice. At least the ice is gone.

Going to start stretching again every day and it's down in writing now.
Grim day and most places still iced up. Have had a bit of a cold for a couple of days so wasn't sure what to do. Went for a warm-up jog round the woods and felt ok so did some hills - but nothing too serious.
Running hills 24:00 [5]
2 sets of 6 x 1'+1' from the bridge to the top of the hill, by DW then up behind crocodile hut. Jog back down to the bridge between sets.
DNC at Birsemore. Almost didn't do this after a day in Embra but thanks to Drew for accommodating my late start and convincing me it would be worth it - it was. Loved it. Made a few wee mistakes in the circle but generally o'ing nicely and the controls were popping up. This one will be hard to beat.

Up the Fungle to the start. Needed this to chill out from the day and get my head together.
Everything still iced up in Aboyne, so DR plumped for a headtorch run through the woods to the golf course. Even the golf course was going to be dodgy for any speed work so just had a steady group run in the end. Really enjoyed it and felt I was running relaxed in my ice bugs.
