Running race 59:00 [5]

12km trail / road race at Nethy Bridge. Not feeling too bright but warmed up after 6km or so. Undulating route but very scenic. Good training session.

Running warm up/down 20:00 [2]

Felt a bit spaced out - was a bit early. Never quite managed the warm down.

Mountain biking 1:30:00 [2]

To Loch Beannach N of Lairg with J and E. Out and back the same way. Miraculously avoided the rain storms although the wind had turned by the time we went back to give us a headwind the whole ride.

Quinag. Sraight up to main peak and back down the same way. Legs didn't feel great but plodded up steadily (55' to top). Another amazing day and superb views.

At Sheigra. Survived a bit longer probably because the air was warmer.

Finally managed to dug the rope out.

From lighthouse at Point of Stoer back to campsite.

From campsite to Stoer then onto track to N for 3.5k to causeway between lochs to track end. Then 1km of portage through heather, rocks and wildness. Thousands of dragonfly and clegs too but amazing place. Reached end of yesterday's track and return to campsite. Superb day.

Managed a couple of minutes before numbing.

Up Stac Pollaidh with J and E. Cloudy but dry and top clear.

Running 30:00 [3]

From Clactoll on track heading NE. Out for 20' then intervals to end and part way back. Great afternoon and some cracking views into Assynt.

10' x 2' + 1' on track. Got better after a few.

Swimming 1:00 [1]

Quick dip after my run. Was very cold.
