Orienteering race 54:00 [4]

Scottish relays, Drummond Castle. Courses way way over planned - not what was needed after yesterday. Had an okish run. A few wee mistakes and a good tussle with BD, which went the right way in the end. Whacked my bruised shin again - ouch! Tired now.

Running warm up/down 10:00 [2]

As usual not enough warm up before the relay. Tired from yesterday but legs not really sore.

Orienteering race 1:58:00 [4]

Scottish champs. Knew before the start that 9km on the elite was going to be tough and it was. Set off steady but head wasn't really there and made some stupid mistakes, including 5 min on no 4 after running right past the control. Fairly steady after that but getting gradually slower. Glad I took some fuel with me.

15 x 1' + 1' at H'head. Feeling tired again, legs ok once I got going, just a bit of a mental challenge.
