Orienteering 1:36:00 [4]

Maroc event at Redburn. Orienteered rubbish but (unusually for such circumstances) really enjoyed both the run and the course. Well planned and had forgotten how nice an area it is.

So we were meant to be doing the Birnam Hill race today, but woke up with a mix of guilt, apathy, and time thoughts. Upshot was we decided not to bother and so went for a very pleasant run with J instead while E was at a party. Ran up into the Correnie Hills from north of Tornaveen. A mixture of track and heather but mostly quite good going. Felt ok but seemed like a long long time since I'd done a run like this.

Round the woods and fields. NIce to get moving again after too much time sitting in planes, lecture rooms, buses and boats during the last 10 days. Felt like a long run!
Right knee still niggling a bit despite all of the rest.

Maroc circuits. Cruising the session but quite enjoyed it. Trying to work my R knee carefully.

Early morning kayak through the flood waters around Mutum. Very peaceful and relaxing start to the day before the long journey home.
