Maroc junior training at Glen o Dee. Mix of warm up, shadowing and control collecting. Good turn out and the inaugural session for the Talent Squad.

Cold seems to have finally kicked in, but actually feeling livelier in some ways - strange bug this one.
Went for a walk up Mortlich with J and E in the afternoon for ~2 hours.

Running 1:20:00 [3]

Still not feeling 100% but decided to make or break with a run up Clachnaben. Took it steady and walked a fair bit of the hill. Not much snow left but a few large icy slabs. Windchill of minus a lot with the breeze on the top, but a nice bright day with good views. Met Zoe and Tim on the way back down and avoided the ice by running through the heather.

Control collecting at Sluie. Mostly in the dark to get my weekly night O fix. Was due to pick up E at 5:30 so had a reason to be focussed and slick. Really enjoyed it.

Steady plod round H'head. Felt tired from intervals last night. Cold and still icy underfoot.

Feeling lethargic all day, but kicked myself out for DR with the help of an extra coffee. Did 15 x 1' + 1' on the roads. Took a bit to wind up into it, but felt like I was running better towards the end.

Orienteering 1:10:00 [3]

Control hanging in Sluie. Feeling much brighter and enjoyed myself. Was just thinking how nice the running was when I caught my left foot, tweaked my ankle and face planted. Ankle settled down but could feel a niggle in my lower back at the end of the run. Should be good on Wed night.
