Running 1:45:00 [3]

Up the Fungle, round the back of Carnferg, to the top, back down to the Guard, left and up to the mast, then back down caper alley and the reverse hill race route. Good run, feeling reasonable. Last bit up to the mast felt hard.

Stretching 15:00 [1]

Note

Never quite made it out for a run today. Active all day in the garden though.

Stretching 15:00 [1]

10 AM

Pilates 1:00:00 [1]

Catch up session.

Running 45:00 [3]

From Aboyne Castle - golf course - Aboyne Loch - Coull to big bog - back round the back. Got confused trying to get back across to the Castle and ended up in a big field full of nettles - ouch. Eventually jumped into the Tarland Burn to escape them. Legs are a bit tingly now.
Something still catching a bit in my chest, but feeling much bouncier again.
7 PM

Orienteering race 20:00 [5]

Forest sprint at Bell Wood. Started behind the youngsters and had to work hard to get past them. Kept me on my toes as I didn't want to get caught back. Bananad 11 and 12, but otherwise pretty smooth.

Running warm up/down 10:00 [2]

Jog before the start - legs feeling ok.

Running 20:00 [2]

Cold is definitely improving, so thought a wee run would be good. Not sure it was really - still lots of coughing and snivelling. Getting fed up of it, but need some more patience. Still very tired too.

Had a lovely day visiting St Emilion. Lucky with the weather again - only raining whilst we were driving and lots of sun at other times.
Got home 1:45 am
What a fantastic trip. Bowled over by the welcome we were given and the wonderful people we met. Think we've persuaded at least a few of them to come to Oban next year so hopefully we can return some of the hospitality.
