Decent night's sleep and feeling much brighter.
Couple of hours to spare while E was being borrowed (thanks Clare). Wasn't sure what I'd feel like so headed out towards Mortlich without a fixed plan. Rapidly realised I was low on energy so just took it steady. Ran to the gate at the bottom of the main climb, then turned down the hill across the bog and through the woods, then back home the same way.

No time and no energy. Haven't slept well the last few nights. Need to get teeth / sinus problems sorted. (Saw dentist today, but doesn't seem to have helped).

Orienteering race 47:00 [3]

DNC at Dunottar woods. Great to be out in the dark again and a fine night for it. Missed the path junction on the way to 1 - hadn't got any feel for the scale at night. Dropped to 10 too soon and faffed a bit. Then took a REALLY stupid route to 11 and almost fell in the R Carron which still looked very deep and scary in my torchlight. Steep slopes were lethal with wet clay and I was on an almost vertical section immediately above the river trying to contour round to 11. After escaping I was so freaked I punched no 4 and almost carried on before I realised I wasn't round to 11 yet.
Brilliant fun!

Running intervals 30:00 [5]

Same session as last Thu - 5 x 4' + 2' round H'head roads etc. Wasn't feeling great, but getting a bit further this time. Hamstrings feel a little tweaky, particularly L one. Think I pulled them a bit last night trying to do shoulder bridge on the squidgy ball. Hopefully nothing too serious.
