Dubh Gleann horseshoe with KH - Beinn a Bhuird, Beinn a Chaorainn and Beinn Bhreac. Steady up the main climb, neither of us feeling too perky, but passed a few folk - more than I’ve ever seen up there before I think. Off the North Top to the west with nice running initially, but soon turned very rocky. Bit of bog land then a steady climb up onto BaC. Even more surprised to meet another 3 folk on this summit and a further 2 approaching! Feet complaining quite a lot by this stage and regretting the Xtalons with so much rocky ground. Seemed a long trudge across to Bhreac though moderately runnable terrain with occasional bits of trod. Descended fairly steeply off the top down to the river and then had a real slog through deep heather and along the river bed back to the bikes. Disappointed that foot nerve pain had returned seemingly as badly as ever, but otherwise a great circuit and grand outing.
