OMG this was hard!! Felt like I was going so so slowly but just could not breathe. Hills felt hard, mud felt hard, not too sure if I really enjoyed it...!
Have crippled my ankle a little too - quite painful to bend :-( but does seem to be easing off. Think I did okay relative to everyone I know at least, and hopefully it was just a slow course rather than me having been rubbish at running. At least my lungs had a good work out :)

Really enjoyed this - great planning & a fun area with a few sneaky uncrossable fences. Planned ahead better this week, but I think it was easier as there wasn't so much people dodging compared to city centre races, so could read map on run without worrying about being run over. Very pleased the long legs were interesting. Pub lunch after so an all round great morning.

Note

At a conference all day today & was up until the wee hours finishing tender questions yesterday, so understandably a bit tired. I just couldn't stay awake when I got home let alone go for a run. Work a bit manic atm, trying to hit all my Dec & Jan deadlines before Christmas. zzzz

So went to track for intervals & we ended up doing kenyan hills lol. Wasn't really a hill though, more just a very long road with a slight incline. Did a rolling thing where you run to the 2nd lampost & back, the 4th lampost & back, the 6th, 8th, 10th, 10th, 10th. Really enjoyed having company again, made me work much harder :)
