Considering I never felt like I got beyond a plod round this I can't quite believe that I would be only 2 minutes away from the podium?!
Nothing special, blew some time hesitating but splits don't seem to suggest that I was losing too much time on the girls ahead. Everyone had errors today, mine coming from 90 seconds lost in the wrong reentrant @ 18, and running to the wrong control @ 23 losing 30 seconds.
Loved this area though - sad I couldn't race at full fitness as I think it suited me quite well.
Was feeling a bit dejected after yesterday but this has made me believe in myself again & at least my map reading skills ;)
Bring on week 2 of winter training.

LOLOLOL!!! Omg I have absolutely no speed whatsoever. and you definitely cannot be slow in a sprint ;) Fairly sure I'd just forgotten how to do this at all. Anyway an embarrassing result, and I never want to feel that shitty in a race ever again. Training I'm coming at ya!

Haven't done intervals in months & omg did this hurt!

Evening forest running :-) so lucky to be able to do this! Saw loads of deer & had the whole forest to myself. Way way better than any road running :)
