Note

Still not great - just feels like a permanent stitch? Hmmm not sure what to do, will probably try something easy tomorrow & stop if it gets any worse. Maybe I'll feel better after a good sleep tonight.

Had a really sore tummy all day yesterday - I felt super sick when running, but I thought it was just the excitement - but then it still hurts today. Know I'm not well when I say no to a roast dinner!
Think it's probably more sensible to take a couple of days to feel 100% rather than pressing on & getting properly ill.

For my least favourite distance on my least favourite terrain I don't think I can be too disappointed. 7th out of those eligible for wuoc (i think??) so almost good enough, the small mistakes were just a bit too costly today. Happy that I seem to be getting back to a good fitness level though & that much of the course went well (no disasters!) - would have liked more course in the tricky boulders though because that bit was fuuuun :)

Awfully busy day - ended up not getting home until 10pm, which isn't exactly ideal for training but what can you do when trains are cancelled & you've got to travel up north
