Needed rest - legs not quite as bad as I feared. Pottered and relaxed.

Remembering Srebrenica walk - from Halton to Kendal (mostly via the canals), with a stop for lunch at Brew Brothers then back - though jogged the last 10K: met and picked up by Sarah just south of Carnforth. Included my first marathon (!) and apparently set a time of 6'03 for a 42.2km section.

An interesting challenge - certainly the walk before lunch (40.6km) was relatively easy. Things only got sore from about 55km onwards. Jogged most of the final 10km because it felt easier than walking - hip very sore by end. Pleased, but of course, always reflective of the events that 'inspired' the walk.

First day at home (alone, so to speak)... got more sorted and then out for this great trot with Cocoa over to Williamson and back via the canal and Caton Rd. Lovely weather.
