shoes: Inov-8 Mudclaw 265 Blue

On way up to Peaks so came off A1 and over to this nice little event. Nothing very tricky, but some cracking fast running and pockets of lovely woodland. Got caught by my 1 min man (aka Boy in a JIRC top) at 10 and he managed to get about 20 secs ahead by the end). Struggled with pace - late breakfast and tired from the week probably impacted, but a nice final event for the year (for sure this time!).

Woke at 4 (as per usual) but managed to get back just after 5... woke tired and drained and felt very laboured on this trot to the Co-op.

Note
slept:5.5 (sick) (rest day)

Had felt rough last night with a dodgy tum; woke early and it had worsened... finally managed to grab another 30 mins until alarm at 5.45am. Didn't eat normally and napped on the train to London.

Decided to have an easy week after the end of the Autumn season - bug/sickness, end of term and need to break after last race. Season has been a pretty positive one with improved fitness and technique - Sandringham probably the strongest to date, although I did lose time (relatively) in the final 10 mins which suggests more work needed on strength from 30-35 mins plus (interesting XT workouts have been capped at that time).
