Easy jog to Tesco. Felt under the weather following the sting.

Over to Ickworth and then a big lap (with extensions in the woods and also at the end). Felt fine and pretty relaxed. Nice out. Only downside was getting stung on my ear by a wasp/bee towards the end of the run.

Parked off Histon Rd and jogged into town and back. Warm. Had thought about racing the KHL League but was awake very early and pretty tired after the week.

From Homerton through town to the river and along to Riverside (and back). Lovely though I did feel tired.

Went onto BodyTrax and confirmed what everyone has said - I've lost weight. Now down to 11st 1lb which is the lowest in years and years... been a combination of (i) anxiety in July and into early August (ii) training (iii) teetotal for 6 weeks now (iv) bread only once a day and a max of two slices. The only downside is that I've also lost about 2% muscle mass so will need to focus on building this up alongside the weight reduction. Should get below 11st in the months ahead.

Fitness training intervals 28:00 [5] 2.8 km (10:00 / km)

XT VO2 Max intervals: 5 x 4 mins (with 2 mins rec) - put machine on L17 and maintained over 70 rpm. Found it so much more (relatively) comfortable this week. A pleasing start to the day.

Loop around Homerton then out down Brooklands, up the path to Long Road and back via Hills with another loop at the end. Very warm and sunny and felt tired but relaxed.
