Before & after the event...
11 AM

Orienteering race 1:10:46 [5] ** 10.3 km (6:52 / km)
spiked:25/28c shoes: Inov-8 Mudclaw 265 Blue

Suffoc event at King's Forest - pretty straightforward Oing in plantations with loads of controls on rootstock banks. Made one major error by passing a bank & having to turn back - lost about 1 min. Found in tough physically & thighs dead but hammy tightening.

6 AM

Running 27:34 [3] 6.0 km (4:36 / km)
slept:4.2 shoes: Asics GT2170 Orange

From hotel west along seafront to Hove and back. Into strong wind on way out so back 1.5 mins quicker.

Running hills 1:03:20 [3] 14.5 km (4:22 / km) +250m 4:01 / km
shoes: Asics GT2170 Orange

From seafront up to Kemptown, Whitehawk, wiggly to London Rd and back via Hove. Had vague sense of direction and sought out hills wherever possible, which was pretty easy! Very blustery in parts.

Tuesday Nov 17, 2015 #

6 AM

Running 1:02:10 [3] 14.0 km (4:26 / km)
shoes: Asics GT2170 Orange

Awake early so worked then travelled to school to get out. Felt chillier than air temp due to wind. Down to town via Churchill and back via Jesus & the Arbury. Reasonable.
