To Halfords/ASDA and back - to ease legs out.

Saturday Sep 5, 2015 #

10 AM

Off-road running warm up/down 26:00 [2] 5.0 km (5:12 / km)
shoes: Brooks ST 5 Racers

Before and after the Lincoln race...

Orienteering race 32:25 [5] 5.6 km (5:47 / km)
shoes: Brooks ST 5 Racers

City race - North Lincoln: pleasing run with only one error (loop around a small building in the garage area - 8 seconds?). Hamstring was a little tight but managed to run strongly. Final 4 controls demanded sprint race running/map-reading (campus of BGU). Beat Dave Peel by 1'20 which was encouraging given everything.

Running 27:35 [3] 6.0 km (4:36 / km)
shoes: Asics GT1000

At last - easy trot around Histon/Imp. Hammy was tight so took it easy. Hoping to run tomorrow.

Note
(rest day)

12 hour day and still grappling with stuff...

Wednesday Sep 2, 2015 #

Note
(rest day)

Felt so tired and drained... work!

Tuesday Sep 1, 2015 #

Note
slept:6.5 (rest day)

First day back with all the staff and exerted huge efforts on my speech. Think today was more demanding than last Tuesday!

Monday Aug 31, 2015 #

12 PM

Off-road running 56:55 [3] 12.0 km (4:45 / km)
slept:6.4 shoes: Inov-8 Mudclaw 265 Blue

Racecourse loop which seemed a great idea on such a soggy day, until I hit the dyke. Safe to say Mudclaws and wet chalk rock really don't combine well. Reduce to walking on barest sections. Hammy a bit stiff and calves tightening by the end.
