Milton Parkrun - as a tempo run pacing Matt from the gym who was looking to run sub-20. We blew that away and joined a couple of Y10s, who also ran well. Up front Josh B ran sub-18 and Jose 18.10. IVC takeover!

From the Parkrun and bakers back to IVC for a hard swim in the fast lane, trying to maintain form and pace... Tough after the run!

Around village then out and back along the GBW... Nice to get out for a morning trot ahead of another long day (16 hours).

Long day at work (13 hours) so no time to train - felt v tired anyway.

After a couple of lengths warm-up, did 10 mins of steady free, then moved to fast lane for 6 x 50m with c.30 secs recovery - averaging 60 secs, with a couple under. Aim has to be to lower to 50secs.

Cycling tempo 16:51 [4] 10.0 km (1:41 / km)

Jogged up from pool, putting on trainers & tee shirt but keeping in new trunks n onto bike for a tough cycle. Hard work after swimming!

Newmarket loop including a stop into Tesco - felt reasonable but tendons felt like they were going to cramp by the end.

Awake before the alarm (5.35) so got up n out to the Post Office then down to Tes n back via Studlands. Tired.

A really good workout (in new trunks too!).... after warm up, focused on fast, smooth free and ended with 4 x 50m with short recovery.

Cycling tempo 37:30 [4] 22.0 km (1:42 / km)

First part of Tri-training... on bike in gym; at a decent tempo and looked to maintain strong rhythm.

Treadmill Running 13:37 [3] 3.0 km (4:32 / km)
shoes: Asics DS Trainer 19

Straight from bike onto treadmill - wobbly legs but couldn't test these as tempo button on machine wasn't great. Picked up pace throughout and ended running 3:45 tempo.
