Weather was too nice not to run the loop - but injury caused me real problems. Groin v sore (esp when had to sneeze) which then caused stiffness in thigh. O well...

Cracking course and terrain at Ashridge SW: tried to run hard throughout and fairly clean. Lost about 2 mins in total, with nearly a min at 9 which was silly. Very pleasing and groin wasn't too sore either.

Out from the hotel and onto an old City race map within 2 mins - did about 15 legs through Holborn, interesting estates and ending down near Temple. Enjoyable apart from sore groin/lower stomach.

Trot around the village - sore, but ran through it and it sort of cleared. Almost.

Later than normal due to interviews - O&B through the woods to the Roman Rd and back... groin sore. O well. Just get on with it.
