Another mile added n felt reasonable this week - certainly better than last week's near-disaster. Did the 7M loop, then to Sailing Club n back via river before finishing around 6M in reverse.

Over to Kings for the Cambs Schools XC... warm up with Dylan, then faster running whilst watching him and then longer run down through CH, along river n back via town. Great to see the boy finish 6th and get his first county selection.
Awake early so caught an earlier train - felt v tired n dead-legged. Might have run too fast yesterday lunchtime or still not recovered from weekend. To College via choo-choo.
After 3 very long, late days, managed to sneak an early :)). To Histon Bridge n then at station n back home afterwards...

Histon Rd Bridge to Station - certainly moving n prob ran a little too hard; thighs were v heavy n sore. Pretty pleased with fastest time for this steady/hard session.
Out n back along GBW to Longstanton - ran at a decent pace n felt reasonable. HAd a decent breeze on the return which helped. Good to get out in the middle of another 13 hour day.
Rest day for the middle of three 13.5 hour working days... could have got out for a short one but was concentrating on preparing for the all-important Govs meet.
