The toughest 20 yet - mainly because i'd only done a hard reps session 14 hours previous.... need to watch that in the future. Did 2 x 7M and O&B to Sailing Club via river. Hit bad patch at 11 but got through to house n took on water n slowed to get me out n back in one piece (just). Wee'd blood afterwards but that could simply be a consequence of hard training.

Warm up n down similar - around town. with strides to begin with.

Good reps session - 6 x 5 mins with 1 min recovery - from Gateway to past 3 miles point on 6M loop n back - tough on return into strongish breeze.

HAd felt shattered all day, but managed to run home and felt pretty good... extended the run at the station to increase the distance. Colder evening.

Woke tired n struggled to get up and out; eventually got a train (7.21 hit by tree) n ran with wind mostly behind up to College... thank goodness. Felt reasonable, in spite of fatigue from return to work.

First day with kids back and daughter's 17th meant it just felt impossible to get out. No worries.

Back to work - but managed to run back from College to the station and included 8 x 20 secs hard strides (leg speed focus) with 40 secs 'recovery' in between each one. A very blustery day.

Out late afternoon around Alice's 'Town Loop' - took it very easy and felt leg dead and weary (unsurprisingly!). It certainly helped and eased the bones out.
