Put alarm on - partly get out early but also to get back to watch the rugby. Felt tired n v heavy legged from the session yesterday which was probably too close to the longest run in recent years, so cut back to 13. Lap of 7M (51.15) + 6M (41.53). Cold out (4c) n was in gloves n long sleeves, but still shorts.

Down to BF and then 2.5 laps at a decent pace (6.20sh)... before the session.

4 x BF Mile (LT pace) with 60 secs rec... felt fine n ran them as required as 'comfortably hard' - 5.40, 5.41, 5.38, 5.38. Lovely calm n mild Autumnal late afternoon.

And easy pace of 2.3 laps of BF and back home... good old-fashioned physically fatigued by end.

ANother delicate start n this time went west down Oxford St to Hyde Park n back via the US embassy, Regents, Soho n up past British Museum. Dont like running in the city - chest feels blocked.

Felt a bit queasy n had a late nite, but got up n out for nice trot thru Holborn, Fleet St, over the Thames on Blackfriars n back over the footbridge by the railway n up thru various streets - extended the run by accident!

Cracking run from hotel over to REgents Park for a big loop and then over by Zoo into Primrose Hill for 4 laps inlcuding ascents of the hill itself. Felt pretty strong n maintained v good pace.

Awake early so got up to do some work and then out before 6 for a decent steady run - exactly the sort you need to do pre-marathon. Did 2 laps of the 6M (41.35 + 42.40) - ran the first lap more perkily than the second n certainly felt tired by the end.
